Toys They Might Actually Love for a Long Time
Ok, I know the experts might not agree, but I’ll never regret spending money on TV character toys because my kids play with them for a long time. (They are still playing with their Gabby’s Dollhouse from two years ago.) My kids actually caught the Paw Patrol bug before last Christmas and are still in love with Chase, Marshall, Skye, and the rest of the crew. So, I think they are worth it.
Plus, I still love my My Little Ponies from when I was little, so it could be a gift they will love for a lifetime. Luckily, this was a big year for the pups with their second movie, PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, in theaters. This spawned dozens of new toys for Santa’s sack, making it a little easier to find something new.

1-Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie Action Figures
This is a great set for kids who just love the pups but aren’t that into the cars. This was probably my daughter’s favorite gift of all time.
2-Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Pup Squad Play Mat & Box
This is as much a gift for parents as it is for kids. It’s a play mat that doubles as a storage box for all the pups. I love ours because you can put all the pups in this box, and it’s easy for the kids to recognize. Then they can dump it without dumping an entire toybox.
3-Skye Mighty Movie Airplane
Skye had an especially big year, as she was the star of the movie! Her story was a little bit sad, but she ultimately led the pups to victory. There are vehicles for all the pups in the movie, but I thought Skye deserved a shout-out.
4-Rubble & Crew Kinetic Build-It Sand Playset
Skye isn’t the only one who had a big year. Rubble got his own show, and it’s as cute as you could possibly imagine. This toy combines Rubble and kinetic sand, a win for any kid.
5-Paw Patrol Kids Pop Up Tent
There is nothing more fun than a tent–except a Paw Patrol tent! This one looks just like Marshall’s fire truck if you use your imagination.

Ok, I don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s large and requires some assembly (ask me how I know.) However, it brought a lot of smiles to my daughter’s birthday.

10-Paw Patrol, Snuggle Up Chase Plush
Ok, is there anything more adorable than this Chase plush and working flashlight? It’s the perfect plush to give your child sweet dreams.

I’m not a teacher, but I am a huge fan of phonics because it’s really been helping my older daughter build the skills she will need to read, and she’s been doing really well. However, I think it would be even more fun with the Mighty pups! Hey, you might not be able to avoid the Paw Patrol, but this is a screen-free way for your kids to get their fix.
12-PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie Liberty & Junior Patrollers Playset
This one is actually a Target exclusive, but it’s so cute I had to add it. The Paw Patrol movie added the Junior Patrollers, three pomeranian pups with big hearts that Libery was stuck training. They are just so cute and fluffy!
