Can you make money playing games & taking surveys on your couch? When I first heard of these apps, I was skeptical – it sounded WAY too good to be true. But as a work-at-home mom blogger, I had to see if it was possible. 

So I challenged myself to make an extra $300 in November and another $100 in April, strictly using apps on my phone. Now, that may not seem like a lot of money, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of time on it. 

And it was a bumpy ride at first, but by the end of April, I was only spending 10-15 minutes a day on this challenge, and it covered my cellphone bill for the month!

Here’s exactly how much I made: 

November 2024: $314.64

April 2025: $136.30

In fact, since I started using survey apps, I’ve earned a total of $504.93, not including apps like Fiverr. So it’s not a fortune, but it’s something! Here’s how I did it: 

Step 1: Choose a realistic goal. I found that $3-10 worked for me.

Step 2: Choose a few of the apps below – don’t put your eggs in one basket!

Step 3: Start playing games, taking surveys, and doing tasks for the next 30 days, and see how the cash adds up! It’s that simple!
